Hollie Strand is a Forensic Examiner who works for the Pennington County Sheriff's Office and is assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. She is base in Rapid City, South Dakota, and handles cases for the Rapid City Police Department, Pennington County Sheriff's Office, and Department of Criminal Investigations. Strand has complied an assortment of insightful safety suggestions for parents to consider in helping their children negotiate the landmines or modern technology.

Strand will be speaking at the Black Hills Christian Academy on December 4th at 5:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. The internet landscape has dramatically changed regarding threats and dangers to children and this is an excellent opportunity to keep parents informed of those risks and how best to safeguard their children.
